I really liked the USASpending.gov website, and I’m pleased to see that there is a Recovery.gov website.

While many states have embraced open source software, I haven’t heard of any official stance by the Federal government on open source software. It is cool to learn that there is a website run by the department of defense called Forge.mil, but for some reason I cannot access it at the moment.
