I use quotes around “fame” because the first post I read by Joey was about his realization that there was a Wikipedia page dedicated to him. I admired his humility on the subject, and subsequently learned about his great work on such an awesome operating system.

His post that I relay here today is about how quickly digital works can disappear, as well as how the law is affected by and affects technology.
