It was recently discovered that some Verizon Wireless employees were fraudulently reviewing Barack Obama’s wireless telephone records. This should seem like an obvious no-no even for “Joe the Plumber” customers, to the point where employees should be unable to do this without the customer’s permission.
Questions remain: will Verizon Wireless take disciplinary action? Will there be a criminal investigation? Does privacy exist anymore?
UPDATE: Verizon Wireless did fire the employees who accessed Obama’s wireless phone account without his permission.
